Why are You asking my mobile number during the registration?

Your mobile number is needed, so that we can share it to the other party who will provide the ride for You. You will also receives his number. The regular voice call is the most convenient way to agree rest of the details for the ride.


Are You sending campaigns and offers to my mobile?

Never. The number is used only for verifying it and as described in the question “Why are You asking my mobile number during the registration”.


Why do I need to provide my email?

The email address is used as Your username for the service. Sometimes we will also send news and tips about the service in to it.


Are You spamming to my email?

Never. We are not sharing Your email to anyone – that’s a promise!


How can I connect photo of myself in to my profile?

Go to menu drawer and select “settings” and from the “Connect to Facebook”. After that, You may need to login to Facebook where the photo will be downloaded. The login to Facebook occurs in the Facebook server, so we do not see Your Facebook credentials. We just receive the brief profile data from Facebook after allowing Ridefy to receive it.


Don’t want to share my Facebook account with You. Can I share my photo without it?

Why the Facebook tells me that You want to update my wall?

Each ride offer can be shared also on Your Facebook wall. That can be selected for each offer / request individually. We are not posting anything to Your wall without explicitly asking Your permission for it.


Why I can’t see rides in a city center and I know that there is one in x distance? In the same distance the ride is shown on suburban area.

We will only show “instant rides” based on the population of the area. In downtown areas, it takes more time to get to You than in rural areas and suburbs.


Who can I know if someone is interested of Ride I’m offering?

When someone is interested of ride You are offering he will send Ride request for You. The one can also attach a short message to the request. You will then receive the request as push notification in to Your mobile so Your device beeps and shows notification message. You can also see the pending requests in “Ridebox” at the application.


How do I know if someone has accepted my request?

You will receive the acceptance as push notification in to Your mobile so Your device beeps and shows notification message


How do I pay for the taxi if the ride is offered by a professional taxi service?

As You would do it without using Ridefy. We are not involved in any payments activity.


How do I pay shared ride?

As You like, usually by cash. But some of the people may also use some device to accept credit card payments.


I have just one single star in my profile, what’s the meaning of the stars?

After each ride, both parties can rate other party. You can give 1 to five starts to him. Weighted average of given stars is shown on users profile then. Starts helps You to evaluate how the other party has been acting in previous rides.
